Top Rules in Dating for Women
Women who go out often with different types of men think that they have mastered the art of dating. Come to think of it though, if a single female is on the lookout for Mr. Right, why can she not stop dating one guy after another? Did she miss "the one" all along? Is she just playing around? Is she afraid of commitment? Or is she not interested in a serious relationship as of the moment? There are so many reasons why one prefers or could not have a stable date. But whatever the reason, you can just focus on the lighter side of it and let fate decide whether one of your dates can pass for a future husband. What matters for now are the dating rules that would lead you to where you want to be.
First thing’s first - look good and smell good. In the first place, no man would want to date someone who stinks or someone who is wearing an annoying perfume. Besides, you do not have to wear an elaborate outfit or makeup to be fabulous. Simplicity is beauty. Tone down your make up. You do not need to look like a clown. If you are having problems with what to wear, why not ask for the location of the date or to be safe, wear something casual yet fashionable. The way you groom yourself speaks a lot about your character. One more, it would be an advanateg to create an impression that you are not a tacky woman but one who knows how to take care of herself.
Do not give out too much information. This has something to do with talking. Of course, you do not want to bore your date but you can do this without talking too much about yourself to the point that you are spilling out information that you do not know whether he is interested in knowing or not. Keeping the conversation alive and spontaneous is basically the man’s job. Remember that he is the one who asked you out and not vice versa. Less talk would also create an aura of mystery around you which would make him feel more interested in you. This could eventually lead to a second date because he would want to find out more.
Do not be too available. You should not be the one who has to adjust; otherwise, it would give him the impression that you are too excited to have a date with him. If ever he schedules the date on a Friday night, tell him you are having dinner with your friends. If he asked you out on a Saturday night, tell him you will check your schedule. This would make him think that you are busy and he should be worth your time.
Avoid conversations about past relationships. It is very unethical for a woman to insist on talking about past boyfriends. One, it would offend him. Two it would appear like you are already insinuating that the dating thing is intended for eventual relationship.
So the guy you are on a date with is cute and drop-dead gorgeous and you feel like you want to spend the whole evening with him. Think about chastity. Although this is the new age it is still not advisable for a woman to make the first move if the man does not show interest. Keep your feelings to yourself and impress him from head to toe so you can be sure that he would go out with you for the second time. The moment you know he already has fallen in love with you, that is the time when you are ready to take it to the next, more serious level.
Usually, it is the guy that has to be early on the date, unless he insists on picking you up. Apply a complementary strategy - that is, arrive a couple of minutes late so as not to appear overexcited.
These are just some of the basic dating tips that must not be neglected. Whether you are in search of Mr. Right or just making the most out of your single life, never forget to keep your decency intact. Being too playful or too chaste would leave a mark in your date’s mind. You cannot really tell who is right for you unless you have been dating for quite some time. And expecting this to develop into a boyfriend-girlfriend relation is too presumptuous. Always remember that you are having a date with this guy just for fun and wherever this leads to is not in your control. Who knows, one of these days, you’ll find your man without even trying.
